Sergipe and Alagoas

The capital Aracaju bisects the coast of the state of Sergipe, the smallest of all Brazil.

The small distances give a good opportunity for short trips in nearby towns. Alagoas State is near the coast and has a little 'bigger than that of Sergipe and Maceió is the capital serves as a reference point for trips to the south and north.

But the similarities end there between the two states.
The beaches of Maceio has a beautiful waterfront urbanized. To the north, there are Barra de Santo Antonio, Sao Miguel dos Milagres (surrounded by rocks) and Maragogi, known for Le Gales (natural pools) 6 km from the coast.

In 1 week in Aracaju book boat trips for canions São Francisco River. Make time for a walk in Barra de São Miguel, in the State of Alagoas.

In 1 month after visiting the main cities of the coast you can visit São Cristóvão and Laranjeiras (State of Sergipe), São Francisco do Penedo and Canindé (State of Alagoas).

    Very beautiful this part of Brazil, not too "touristy" as other popular locations. We are starting this year was in the car and going up to Holy dall'Espirito Recife. The coast dell'Alagoas I did it all and is really quite beautiful.
